Azul Crystal Mosaic

“Azul: Crystal Mosaic” is an expansion to the critically acclaimed board game “Azul,” designed by Michael Kiesling and published by Plan B Games. This expansion enhances the base game by offering players new challenges and decorative elements. It includes double-sided player boards, providing novel strategies and gameplay variations, as well as plastic overlays that help keep the Azulejos (tile pieces) in place on the player boards.

In “Azul,” players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later, they score points based on how they’ve placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the player’s score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

The “Crystal Mosaic” expansion adds an additional layer of strategic depth and aesthetic appeal to the base game, giving fans of “Azul” fresh ways to enjoy this modern classic in the board gaming world.
