“Bohnanza: Ladies & Gangsters” is an expansion for the popular card game “Bohnanza,” designed by Uwe Rosenberg. This expansion is split into two separate modules that can be added to the base game independently or together.
The “Ladies” part introduces female versions of the bean cards, which have special abilities that can help players when planted in fields with their male counterparts. This module enhances the strategic depth of the game, offering new opportunities for scoring and bean planting efficiency.
The “Gangsters” module adds a solo play variant, where the player acts as a boss facing challenges from rival gangs. This provides a narrative-driven, single-player experience that is quite different from the multiplayer trade and negotiation focus of the original game.
Both modules bring fresh twists and new strategies to “Bohnanza,” allowing players to customize their gameplay experience and enjoy the beloved bean trading game with new roles and challenges.
