“Bohnanza: Princes & Pirates” is another expansion to “Bohnanza,” the classic card game about planting, trading, and selling beans. Like “Ladies & Gangsters,” this expansion consists of two separate modules, offering new themes and gameplay elements.
The “Princes” module introduces a new bean type, the “prince bean,” along with new rules for a bean duel where two players can compete for a princess’s favor, adding a competitive edge and another layer of strategy to the original game’s mechanics.
The “Pirates” part of the expansion adds a new adventure where players can now go on a treasure hunt. Players can gather gold and use pirate ships to interfere with other players’ bean trade, injecting a more confrontational and adventurous twist to the trading and collecting aspects of the base game.
These modules can be played independently of each other or combined with the base game, providing “Bohnanza” fans with new challenges, strategies, and a fresh take on the familiar gameplay.
